Featured Photographer: Robert Hawkins

After 10 years of untangling other people's lines guiding in Alaska and Montana, Robert was ready to have his weekends back. So he and his wife put their talents together and started Be A Deer, a graphic design and photography agency in Montana.

Fly origins: "As a kid I tagged along with my dad on an endless string of weekends on Montana's infamous rivers: the Madison, Jefferson, Bighorn, Missouri, and Yellowstone. In the early years I was too young to appreciate the waters and what it really meant to fly fish. But the seed was planted."

Current status: "If you're looking for me check the rivers; my camera in one hand, fly rod in the other, and a smile on my face."
