Writers on the Fly 09

Jason Rolfe is bringing Writers on the Fly to TFFJ’s hometown. On May 19th, 2016 at 7:00pm at Bellinghams Boundary Bay Brewery, come on out for a gathering of flyfishing authors who will be reading material, telling stories and having a good time together with other like minded individuals.

Co-sponsored by 4th Corner Flyfishers, proceeds from the Bellingham event will go to the Liam Wood Fly Fishers and River Guardians, a program at Western Washington University. Prominent author David James Duncan started the school after hearing about the young fisher who was overcome by the pipeline blast on Whatcom Creek in 2009.

In addition to the featured readers, (TFFJ’s editor Mr. Steve Duda, Jason Rolfe, word has it that there will be a special guest appearance also) we’ll be discussing a bit of the inner workings of the creative process that goes on while making an issue of The Flyfish Journal. As well, there will be a handful of photographs on display from yours truly.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.writersonthefly.brownpapertickets.com, and more info about Writers on the Fly at Syzygy Flyfishing.

For Jason Rolfe’s other cool project, check out the Blue Boat Sessions.
