Stoked on the Smith

The Smith River is located in west-central Montana and is home to some beautiful wild trout and towering canyon walls. The construction of a copper mine on Sheep Creek, an important tributary of the Smith River, has been proposed, which would jeopardize the stunning waters of the Smith River. The Montana Wild crew drew a permit to float the Smith and took cameras along to show the preserved beauty of the water.
