Moose are being aggressive in the willows at the head of the lake. We give them a wide birth. I’ve had far more confrontations with them than with grizzlies over the years.

John Holt

John lives in Livingston, Montana with his wife Ginny. They spend a good deal of time losing their way and then finding themselves in places like Pelly Crossing, Yukon, High Level, Alberta, and Wrigley, Northwest Territories. He is the author of a number of books including Yellowstone Drift, Coyote Nowhere and Hunted: A Novel.
