In the past week the stripers are from three-to-seven pounds with an occasional nine-to-ten pounder in the Stockton and Discovery Bay system feeding on larger six-to-seven inch Warpath "Tamahawk" patterns.

Moose are being aggressive in the willows at the head of the lake. We give them a wide birth. I’ve had far more confrontations with them than with grizzlies over the years.
