Pyramid Lake Bait Balls

Some very unique footage of an already unique fishery that is Pyramid Lake, Nevada. No ladders are involved here, just a timely cast into a ball of Tui Chub, one of the reasons the lake’s Lahontan Cutthroat are able to get so big, they’ve got a great source of protein present in the chub population.

Austin Leonard and Pyramid Lake Fly Co. buds were able to fly a drone over these balls of Tui and catch cutthroat ambushing from below. Pretty spectacular!
