Our Sound Our Salmon

WFC Soirée and Benefit Auction

Mark your calendars for an evening of fun, food and fundraising in the name of wild fish. Wild Fish Conservancy‘s 2017 Wild Fish Auction Soirée and Benefit Auction takes place Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville, Wa.

This year’s event will focus on WFC’s efforts to protect our sound and our
salmon from destructive Atlantic salmon net pens. Proceeds will go toward
our recently formed Our Sound, Our Salmon campaign initiative.

The evening begins with a champagne and hors d’oeuvre reception and silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner, live auction and keynote address.

Please find more information and event details here.

Check out the video from John Gussman above, and think about RSVPing for the wild fish Soirée. From OSOS: “Earlier this year, the Our Sound, Our Salmon campaign drafted a letter of petition to Governor Inslee, demanding he halt the expansion of Atlantic salmon net pens in Puget Sound.

As of September 19th, 8,469 individuals have signed on to the letter, and the campaign is supported by a diverse coalition of 82 businesses and organizations.

Despite repeated attempts, Governor Inslee has yet to agree to a meeting with the leaders of the Our Sound, Our Salmon campaign.
