Coastal Cutthroat Coalition

DEDICATED TO THE SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT OF WILD COASTAL CUTTHROAT TROUT

Ever caught a sea-run cutthroat trout? Also known as the coastal cutthroat? They’re really neat fish, anadromous cutthroat trout that readily take flies. They’re all over the Puget Sound and up and down the west coast, from Alaska south to Northern California. As it is, not a lot is known about them, as they don’t have commercial value, so not as much research has been conducted on them. Thats where the Coastal Cutthroat Coalition comes into play, educating people about SRC’s, helping to get research projects funded and lots more.
