Class V Fly Fishing

Running Whitewater and Fishing for Giants in Alaska

Join director Brendan Wells on an expedition to “the place that’s not on the map.” Frothy-watered rapids lead to hidden, untouched fishing holes in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska. Watch as this crew of kayakers and anglers catch the same salmon that surfed past them on the way down.

From film description: “Somewhere in Alaska’s remote Bristol Bay region lie hidden whitewater gems and an abundance of salmon and trout. Class V Fly Fishing is a film with soul where two seemingly opposite passions—fly fishing and class V kayaking—come together as Brendan, Parker, Maranda and Todd team up to paddle, fish and explore unique Alaskan rivers. When they stumble upon an old bucket boat, the kayakers take three local fishing guides down the big whitewater to explore their own backyard and share the epic, and mostly untouched, fishing holes.”
