We’re In This Together: A Letter from Our Publisher

Dear Flyfish Journal friends,

We wanted to give a shout out to our community — from Ketchum to King Salmon, and Santiago to South Andros. With a challenging time for all, we are doubling efforts to give our readers a breather and crank up the volume of inspirational content across our all of our digital channels. Additionally, with an issue about to go to press, we will shortly be shipping some analog joy to the world. Nice to put down the phone some these days.

We will remain connected as a community that looks out for one another. Take care of yourselves. Go outside; breathe some spring air, hear the birds, see the bugs and know that summer is coming.

For those fortunate enough to have a pond, stream or beach on their property, fishing becomes more critical than ever. While no one should ignore their state and county health officials, there is a lot one can do backyard vs. backcountry. Whether practicing casts in the driveway, tying up a swarm of hoppers at the vise or stalking a few bluegill in your retention pond, we encourage all to keep the faith.

And please feel free to share your more creative coping tactics with us; we’ll be putting up the best and most ludicrous. Send to submit@theflyfishjournal.com

We’ll be right here, continuing to knock out flyfishing’s best stories, images and films for flyfishing’s best community. We are all in this together.

Stay Stoked,

Jeff Galbraith, Publisher
