A Northern Light

A Love Letter To A Wilderness

“I believe in the medicines of wanderlust.”

From our fearless correspondent Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate, and filmmaker/photograhper Tony Czech comes A Northern Light. In the beautifully inspiring look at the Boundary Waters of northeastern Minnesota, written and narrated by Riverhorse, the threat of a copper mine looms. He sets out to explore the wilderness in several seasons to understand it better and sing it phrases of hope and protection.

From Patagonia: “Encompassing over 1,000,000 acres, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is in peril from a proposed toxic copper mine on the park’s boundary. Patagonia ambassador Nathaniel Riverhorse Nakadate paddles through the BWCAW to give voice to a silent, pristine place.”
