Pacific Rivers, Trout Unlimited, The Wild Salmon Center have been working together with Oregon Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley to introduce a bill protecting part of the 104,000-acre Steamboat Creek watershed as the Frank and Jeanne Moore Wild Steelhead Special Management Area Designation Act.

While just one part of Oregons fight to protect its headwaters and the fish that are so dependent upon them, it’s an important one.
