The Umgeni River, a stream in KwaZulu-Natal province stocked with brown trout in 1890, fished by Richard Thring on Wakefield Farm. In the distance is the iconic iNhlosane Mountain, an isiZulu name, the meaning of which is debated but is most commonly thought to mean either “where the weather meets” or is a reference to the shape of a breast.
