“Sean Abbott’s Kintaro back piece took about one year to complete—I don’t even know how many hours. The image is Kintaro (golden boy), a beloved folk hero of Japan. Kintaro was born to Yama-uba and lived in the mountains. He befriended all the animals there and was a general sweetheart. In one story, he wrestles a carp to save his mother, who he believes has been eaten by the carp. It’s a special image that means a lot to me and I believe resonates with many of my clients.”  Photo: Dan Santoro
