“Acorn Hooks are a piece of tattoo furniture I designed with friend and craftsman Bradley Chukinas,” Santoro says. “I wanted to show that tattooing a back piece can be easier on both the artist and client. We wanted to make a piece of furniture that was not only fully functional but also of the highest quality. We based the design off Frank Lloyd Wright’s high back chairs, which I saw while touring the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, NY. They are 100 percent made in Pennsylvania, with the period-correct process. No corners cut.”
